Here are a couple more of the cute cards I was able to send to OWH today.

You can see here I used up some of my scraps by making striped cards.   They turned out cute and it was a good way to use up some little pieces since I hate to throw anything away!

Some simple but pretty ones, made using my cuttlebug!

Again, used up little pieces by adding a background frame!

I finally had a few minutes to get back to that wedding card.  Here's another shot of it, this time with some more details added.  I think it looks a lot better.

Today, I sent 29 cards off to OWH.  I took pictures of them before I sent them so I could remember what I had made.  Here are some of the pictures...

These 2 sets were from a 6 x 6 stack from Archives.  I followed a blog (can't remember which one though) where she talked about using both sides of 6 x 6 paper and making multiple cards from the paper.  You can see at the end I used small squares matted on the paper to use up all my scraps (I have way too many scraps 'cause I don't like to throw any pieces away).

This one I used my cuttle bug to emoboss and a nice piece of ribbon.

This one was just 3 different layers of paper.  The patterned paper says it all.

I thought this turned out cute.

I think this one meets the criteria for CAS this week on OWH challenge (http://operationwritehome.org/midweek-throwdown-clean-simple/).

So this week Operation Write Home had a post about making cards with "windows".  Here is the link to their tutorial - http://operationwritehome.org/tutorial-window-card/.  I went into my craft room and had this cut sitting on my cricut mat from a wedding card I made last week.  So I thought it would be nifty to use it in this post.  I used my cuttlebug to emboss the backgroun card and then printed the "Just Married" saying, using a lace corner punch.   I think it turned out okay, might need to add some more detail on the car....but the garden is calling me for now!  May try some more "window" cards later.

So.....this is a little different then card making, but it was fun nonetheless.  I follow Project Hope on Facebook (www.projecthope.org) and try to participate in the various charity projects they are making. This month it is flip flops for Nicaragua.  I bought 10 pairs, used various ribbons and yarn that I had and with the help of the girls at my once a month crafting group, posted below are the results!!! We wrapped some, knotted some and even crocheted some.  The burgundy pair at the top I crocheted with a narrow ribbon.  I think they turned out really cute!

Card I made tonight from the OWH Sketch Challenge #177 (http://operationwritehome.org/sketch-challenge-177/).

I think it turned out pretty good!  The more I do, the more I enjoy card making.  And I appreciate all the help I am getting from following OWH...all while donating my cards to a good cause!

Here's a Father's Day card I made in the Cricut Craft Room using the free cuts they have available for father's day.  They are from the Outdoor Man cartridge.  I used a kraft paper card, then a leafy background type paper.  After I cut the moose, I had an extra so I layered it with a foam wedgie underneath.  Then I cut the saying with my cuttlebug and embossing templates.
